I got this bundle to replace my old 10" punch and burned out 600W old Kenwood amp in YJ. Even through these 2x10" with this amp do a nice job of giving a little of bass, but nothing phenomenal. Good price, nice balanced sound.
Oh Amazon/this vendor (6th ave)have ZERO communication. no confirmation e-mail from amazon for placing the order, no tracking number. but after a little bit of calling (amazon, 6th ave) 6th ave was able to give me the tracking number.
so good, quick shipping(considering it was free-awesome!), good little bass bundle.

i dont own this sub, probably never will. i'm sure it sounds great and i'm also sure it hits deep. like the poster above me said (pimp van) is correct you probably need a van for any more than one of these. if you have your own shop, or your a special person with MTX and they give you one of these, or you just have money to blow than go for it. by as many as you want and blow your brains out with bass. but i promise that, for the cost of one of these subs you can have two very good subs installed with an amp that will out beet one of these every day of the week. i gave it 5 stars because i'm sure it's an awesome sub-woofer, MTX is a great company and has been a great company for a long time. this is just one of those (look what we have) products.

Klipsch KHO-7 Outdoor Loudspeaker (Pair, White) Review

Klipsch KHO-7 Outdoor Loudspeaker (Pair, White)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
After two seasons of torturing myself with a cheap set of "Dual" outdoor speakers I could take no more. First I searched Amazon and read many reviews on lots of different brands. Took notes on model numbers, etc so hopefully I could hear some at my local audio stores before purchasing. I was primarily interested in a set of "Polk Audio's" for around $159.00, but I made the mistake of purchasing the "Dual's" without hearing them first. I figured it will get the sound out there and be good enough, boy was I wrong! So this time I wanted to hear them before purchasing. So off to Best Buys I went to hear the "Polks" and check out the other brands they had. Well, they had about a half dozen different sets starting at around $100.00 a pair on up. I really did not want to spend more than $200.00. Truthfully I listened to all of the brands (including the "Polk's")they had and I wasn't impressed much. They all sounded about the same, tinty with very little bass and not that much better than the "Dual's" I already had. Until... I pressed the button for the "Klipsch" KHO-7's! Within seconds I was hooked! These speakers had excellent bass for there size! They seemed much more efficient(louder) at the same volume than the other brands. They sounded as good as a decent set of indoor speakers. Needless to say I was impressed with the sound quality. Then, I looked at the price, Best Buy had them on sale for $319.00 a pair, regularly $349.00. This was much more than I wanted to spend. So I kept switching back to the "Polk's" trying to convince myself they were good enough, but every time I heard the Klipsch there really was no comparison to me. They just sounded that much better. So, I wrote down the model number to hopefully purchase them on Amazon at a better price. Unfortunately, at that time, Amazon did not carry this model of Klipsch. So, back to Best Buy I went, bit the bullet and purchased them for $319.00. I have absolutely no regrets and let me say this. Every time I play these speakers I thank myself for not compromising and purchasing something cheaper. The speakers include the mounting brackets and are very easy to install. You can angle them about 180 degrees with the thumb screws. I prefer to take mine down and bring them in for the winter to prolong there life. I would recommend using a good quality 14 or 12 gauge copper speaker wire. My KHO-7's are hooked up to a vintage Sansui 9090DB pushing 125 watts RMS @ 8 ohms per channel. The type of music I most listen to is Rock from the 60's thru the early 90's, mostly eighty's hair band stuff, etc. I don't think you could find a better sounding set of outdoor speakers in this price range. I like these "Klipsch KHO-7's" so much I plan to purchase another set next spring for the other side of the house. If music means more to you than just something in the "background". Do yourself a favor and check out the sound of these speakers before you purchase anything. I think you will agree they are well worth the price.

Rockford Fosgate Punch P3 P3D212 12-Inch 500-Watt Subwoofer - 2 Ohm Review

Rockford Fosgate Punch P3 P3D212 12-Inch 500-Watt Subwoofer - 2 Ohm
Average Reviews:

I have owned 2 P3d412 subwoofers for a year now and they are great! This system is really loud! with the volume turned all the way up, its almost difficult to breathe in the car. I have a rockford punch p1000-1bd amplifier powering the two(1259 watt). they are in a dual-ported enclosure. not only do they rattle your car apart, but the sound quality is great! hits the highs just as well as the lows. The dual voice coils really make it easy to wire however you wish. great, great, great! rockford really makes some high quality stuff! Next system=Rockford POWER series subs.
Ps: if you are running more than one of these subs, i would recommend buying a capacitor to keep your lights from dimming.

An awesome choice whether you want to add one or multiple subwoofers to your vehicle. The P3 12-inch subwoofers can be used in either sealed or ported enclosures, plus you'll get the wiring flexibility of dual voice coils.

P3D212 Features
Speaker Construction
Custom 10-AWG nickel plated push terminals
Dual linear spider with embedded 16 AWG tinsel leads
Extended pole piece and bumped backplate
High excursion Poly-Ether-Ester surround
High-temp voice coil with spun-laced Nomex reinforcement collar
Kevlar Fiber reinforced semi-pressed paper cone and ABS/Acrylic dustcap
Protective PVC textured magnet cover
Reversible diamond cut cast aluminum trim ring
Vented spider cavity

Aluminum V/C Former Rockford Fosgate subwoofers use anodized aluminum voice coil formers that provide excellent heat dissipation. Unlike traditional plastic substitutions, aluminum acts like a heat-sink to quickly dissipate thermal build-up on the voice coil. This keeps subwoofers cool during high SPL conditions.
CEA-2031 Power handling on Rockford Fosgate speakers conform to CEA-2031 industry standards. This means your speaker has the capacity to handle power under continuous damand, not instantaneous power handling, that over time, can damage voice coils.
Reversible Mounting Rockford Fosgate subwoofers can be mounted in either direction. A removable trim ring can be installed on the back or front side of the subwoofer frame. This gives the subwoofer a finished look regardless of mounting configuration.
Stitched Tinsel Leads Multipoint "periodic" stitched lead wire technique reduces the mass of each tinsel lead and spreads stress and strain over a greater area, significantly improving the reliability and performance of the subwoofer.
These stitched tinsel leads withstand extreme duty cycles, fatigue and high current that is critical to robust design.
Venturi-Effect Cooling The "Venturi-Effect" is created by gradually reducing the air-flow exhaust path area, which increases the air speed across the key thermal masses ofthe speaker motor parts maximizing cooling effectiveness.

I bought this amp to run a pair of flat pioneers, the 300 rms models and it works fine on them, in fact they cant handle it above half gain. On the other side of the coin I have a 10" Audiobahn competition sub rated at 1000 rms and this amp didn't hardly move it. I had a Rockford BD1500 on a pair of them and damn near blew my sun roof out of the car, no joke. It's a descent amp but I'm concerned that it won't handle a 1 ohm load as stated. Over all not bad for daily use if you don't try to push it.

Mission M-Cube System Including 5 Satelites and Powered Subwoofer (Set, Midnight) Review

Mission M-Cube System Including 5 Satelites and Powered Subwoofer (Set, Midnight)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The first thing that anybody will notice when looking at this surround sound system is the price. At $2,000 retail, the M-Cube System is easily one of the most expensive set of speakers on the market. Of course, there is such a thing as You Get What You Pay For, and that's pretty much the case here, but still any money-conscious consumer will no doubt have some questions before making such a huge investment merely for the sake of thundering bass and crisp audio. Hopefully I can answer some of the big questions that would at least come to MY mind, but if there's any more feel free to leave them in the comments section and I'll do my best to answer them.
1. Does it sound good?
Yes, blissfully and gloriously so. Those 5 little speakers can whiz and buzz around you like a living thing, atmosphere sounds are so real that I've never felt more in-the-movie than after watching a few Blu Rays with this system. The little subwoofer packs a great variety of bass, including crisp thuds of kick drum as well as throaty bellows like on the Dark Knight/Inception soundtracks, and the satellites carry a good range of kick if they need to as well. Placement is important, but I tested the speakers in a variety of locations and they sounded phenomenal in every location. I have no idea how they did it, but these speakers are simply so well designed that it's really hard to screw them up. As long as you're watching something in surround sound, prepare to be amazed.
2. Okay, but wait: I thought 7.1 systems were the new rage? Isn't 5.1 already outdated?
Yes and no. You're right, 7.1 surround sound IS the new rage. There are now probably well over a hundred different Blu Rays that have 7.1 audio, including almost every Disney release. With that being said, however, a good 5.1 system is still better than an okay 7.1 system. I have several friends who have upgraded to 7.1 and their systems sound amazing, but I still think these M-Cubes sound better. There's just a really clear richness in tonal quality and pitch with the M-Cube that I've never heard before elsewhere. The problem with dated technology is that everything is changing and upgrading so fast now that no matter how quick you are to jump on something, the next new thing will be only a year or two away. I've already heard talk of 7.2 surround sound, so who knows, even 7.1 may be old news soon.
3. Who is "Mission"? I've never heard of that brand name. How do I know I can trust them?
You're not alone, I'd never heard of them before either. It turns out this is probably because the company is based in the UK. I still don't know what their reputation is like, though, and I didn't have any problems so I never called customer service. I only know that the look, feel, and sound of the system is very professional. It's an easy comparison to say that this system is very similar to BOSE products where big sound comes from little speakers. The heaviness and sturdiness of the speakers are also similar.
4. How difficult is set-up? Should I have a professional install everything?
Set-up in itself is not difficult, mostly a matter of connecting wires to the right spots, but I would still say that hiring a professional is a MUST. There's just too many wires that'll need to be fed through walls for someone who is not in the know to do. Also, professionals will most likely know the best spots to place the speakers so they offer the best possible surround sound. If you are already pretty familiar with this stuff, though, it should be a breeze.
5. I listen to a lot of music on my stereo systems, how does music sound with M-Cube?
Music is probably the biggest flaw when it comes to the M-Cube. The subwoofer works great for movie soundtracks and atmosphere, but when it comes to a constant thump-thump-thump of today's popular music, something about it just doesn't quite sound right. You can adjust the bass setting on the subwoofer itself and doing so can make it fit better for music, but then you'll want to switch it back for movies so, in the end, I wouldn't really suggest this system for someone who listens to CDs as much as they watch BDs.
6. Will I have to buy a receiver or is one included?
No receiver is included so you WILL have to buy one unless you already own one that supports 5.1 surround.
7. The speakers look so small, do you actually expect me to believe they sound great?
I know they're extremely small, but if you've ever heard a BOSE or similar small speakers before, you know just how possible it is to get theatre sound out of little objects. The M-Cube system is the same way, small convenient size, earth-shaking spectacle of amazing sound.
8. I'm nervous about ordering this online, can you post some pictures showing how it'll get sent to me?
Sure! Just look at the customer-added images I posted on the product page. And, if it's not clear from that, let me just say that the way the system is shipped there is no possible worry about it getting damaged in transit. Everything is well padded and secured. It's also really easy to store everything in and out of the box should you need to.
9. Would YOU buy it?
Good question. It should be noted that I received this system to test via the Amazon.com VINE program so I didn't actually have to pay for it. Now that I've experienced all the pleasure and wonder of its sound, would I actually pay over $1,000 for it if I had to? Well.. my answer is probably No, and here's why.
I'm both an audiophile and a penny pincher. I know those two sound like polar opposites, but it's true. I can hear a poor system a mile away and likewise I can moan in the wonders of a good one when I hear it. Unfortunately, though, the M-Cube system is simply out of my budget. Even if it WERE in my budget, however, I would have serious doubts about getting it because of the fact that it is only 5.1 (I would be tempted to wait for M-Cube to release a 7.1 set) and because it doesn't sound super amazing with music. I listen to a lot of music, so that's a big downer for me.
My overall opinion of audio quality of the system is easily 5/5 stars, I feel bad for giving it 4/5 overall, but I do have to consider some of its weaknesses as I've pointed out. I try to avoid rating products based on price because I know everyone values things differently and everyone has different levels of disposable money. Also, I DON'T think this system set is necessarily overpriced for it's quality. The biggest downers were really the fact that 5.1 is near retirement age and music is a big deal to me. Otherwise, this is easily one of the best surround sound systems on the market.

2 KENWOOD KFC-W3011 & KENWOOD KAC-7204 PACKAGE DEAL Review

2 KENWOOD KFC-W3011 and KENWOOD KAC-7204 PACKAGE DEAL
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Hello,
I did some research before buying this package deal, and got some very mixed opinions about the speakers and the amp. Well let me first start off by saying that I've had this product for about two months now and they are still working great with no problems. When properly setup and everything with a closed speaker box (I built my own) these speakers can really kick, and I am very happy with them. I have only had one problem thus far and that was that the amp can be over powered, in which when I turned the amp up too high the blue light on the top would dim every time the bass hit, but let me assure you the amp really does not need to be turned up this high, it is really loud if you leave the sensitivity at 1. Other then that this product has meet all of my expectations and I am very satisfied. This is a very good buy for the price, and I would defiantly recommend this product to anyone looking for a loud sound system at a reasonable price. If you have any questions please feel free to email me at Darkraven21666@hotmail.com and I will do my best to answer them thank you for reading my reveiw and happy shopping to you.

Martin Logan - MLT-1 - 5.1 Speaker System - Black Review

Martin Logan - MLT-1 - 5.1 Speaker System - Black
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I won't claim to be an audiophile or musically inclined but I just know a good sound from a mediocre one. Ok, so that's not raising the stature of this review at all. But if you want just a humble and honest opinion I would say this is one. All the other reviews I've seen of the ML's are those of the MLT-2's, what I bought and will be raving about are the MLT-1's.
Bought the set for just $299 when it went on sale at Frys, which promptly put it back to its original price of $799 after the sale. So that bargain price alone, although was a great start, it also made this set a suspicious one for me. But when I hooked its speakers up to my newly purchased Yamaha RXV665, man, was I blown away by that delightful sound coming from those small speakers!... "Delightful" is the only word I could come up with now so I'm probably not giving it justice. Granted the speakers I replaced were my 20 year old JBL's, which probably were so-so to begin with, but what I heard from the MLT-1's were just pure music to the ears in more ways than one - for even the dialogue from the set top cable box (Dishnetwk) was nicer to the ears than when I was hearing it from the other speakers including the TV's (Samsung UNC8000 55").
Anyways, let me just list here my general, non technical impressions of these speakers:
1. The sound that comes out does not deafen you even when volume is raised very high. The metaphor I have for the sound that comes from them is that it seems to come to you in a big "soap bubble" that when it "hits" you and "bursts" it gives you a gentle, refreshing drizzle to your face on a hot summer afternoon.
2. The subwoofer produces a soft but confident boom. Perhaps most subwoofers do the softie booms but I like what comes out of the MLT-1's SW. I like the fact that the SW automatically turns on when the amp delivers the signals. No more having to go do a manual switching off.
3. Back to the "bubble" description, I realize that's the visual I get when I'm listening from my kitchen, which is right next to the family room where I have the MLT-1's. When I position myself in the family room I feel like being inside the sound bubble, the sound is a bit different but I still feel its warmth and fullness, it's still just as awesome! (I am aware that my lack of articulateness is limiting the value of this review but I think the adjectives I have used here "delightful", "awesome", "warmth", "fullness" are quite appropriate to the sound that these speakers produce.)Finally, I would surmise a guess that all those good reviews for the MLT-2's are likely applicable to the MLT-1's as well. Check out those reviews.
Hope this helps.

I just recently bought this amp with a Planet Audio 12" 2400 Watt Sub 4 ohm DVC wired for 2 ohms in a custom ported box. Lets just say my 2010 Ford Fusion is bumping so loud that I had a couple of picture frames in the house fall off of the wall. This amp is a beast. It handles anything I can throw at it without much draw on my battery or stock alternator. The amp is cool to the touch after 2+ hours of constant abuse. I would definately buy this. You wont find a better amp for the money. I went through 2 amps of the same price range and power and had problems with both. I am extemely pleased with this purchase. I would also recommend building or having a custom box built to spec for any system. It will make the world of difference in sound quality and bangin' bass.
