I got this bundle to replace my old 10" punch and burned out 600W old Kenwood amp in YJ. Even through these 2x10" with this amp do a nice job of giving a little of bass, but nothing phenomenal. Good price, nice balanced sound.
Oh Amazon/this vendor (6th ave)have ZERO communication. no confirmation e-mail from amazon for placing the order, no tracking number. but after a little bit of calling (amazon, 6th ave) 6th ave was able to give me the tracking number.
so good, quick shipping(considering it was free-awesome!), good little bass bundle.

Kogi L9CH Flat-Panel 19" LCD Monitor Review

Kogi L9CH Flat-Panel 19 LCD Monitor
Average Reviews:

I was fearful when I bought this monitor. How could anyone expect decent quality at such a low price? I was astounded. The monitor was easy to hook up. It configured itself authomatically. The picture was amazing! Text is crystal clear. Video playback is great (I have a TV tuner card installed in my PC). There was not a single dead pixel--again amazing for such a large LCD screen! I recommend this monitor without reservation. The only thing I can't comment on is the sound of the integrated speakers. I didn't even hook them up. I'm sure their quality could not rival the speakers I am already using.

Denon AVR-2808CI 7.1-Channel Multizone Home Theater Receiver Review

Denon AVR-2808CI 7.1-Channel Multizone Home Theater Receiver
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I've owned a few receivers in the past (mostly Sony ES models), but none of them compare to this one. Denon specializes in audio, and it shows! Don't get me wrong, I love and own alot of Sony's products (two TVs, PS3, Vaio computer, DVD player, etc.), but after picking up this Denon and pairing it with a Polk speaker/sub setup, I've never been happier, and the upgrade from the Sony ES it replaced is substantial in many ways.
Denon AVR-2808ci Pros:
-Sound quality is absolutely incredible! Even compressed music from iPod is great ("Restorer" feature really helps!). Highs, mids and lows are all accurately reproduced, and there are tons of custom EQ options!
-Audyssey Auto-Calibration is accurate and thorough.
-Includes decoding of all current and future sound-fields (DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD, as well as Uncompressed PCM and everything else you can imagine, all via HDMI version 1.3a)!
-Display is large and includes alot of necessary info-this thing tells you what it's doing.
-Solid build quality and nice looking!
-Connectivity options (HDMI, toslink, digital coax, component video, s-video, etc.)
-Video upconversion via HDMI using built-in Faroudja DCDi processor, or just passthrough and use as a convenient HDMI switcher (assignable inputs).
-Excellent sound processors, both for movies and music, complement a solid, beefy amplifier.
-Customizable as all heck: 4-stage dimmer, "Quick Select" feature for three sources, learning lcd remote, volume level options, mute level options, default settings per-source, massive amount of EQ/channel level/crossover settings, and more!
-Main remote works great, learns and controls just about all of your gear.
This receiver is truly great for anybody who is serious about their Home Audio/Home Theater. The only drawbacks are that it is very complex, which is fine except that Denon doesn't make it any simpler to understand in the manual. It definitely takes some time to set this thing up and learn its interface. The Sony's I've owned in the past were far more user-friendly from the initial set-up/calibration onward. However, they never delivered results that were even close to this unit, and once you learn it, it does make sense and is relatively user-friendly after setup.
Cons:
-Complex manual and interface takes time to learn.
-On Screen Menu lags a little and blacks out picture rather than a nice overlay. Also, it's not the better looking, more user friendly GUI that more expensive models have (as well as all Sony's).
-Smaller secondary remote only works for other Zones (not a big deal really, but still...)
-Main remote takes forever to program/set up for universal usage. complicated.
-Only two HDMI inputs (could've used at least one more at this price range).
-No HD radio or Sirius support (does have XM).
Overall, minor gripes aside (nothing's ever perfect), I'm incredibly pleased and excited to own this unit and have it as the central hub to my Home Theater. I have Blu-ray now (PS3) and the advantages and options both now and in the future are vast. I'm confident that the Denon AVR-2808ci will allow me to take full advantage of that and other things for years to come. Mostly, though, it just cranks out amazingly good audio from any source, and that is ultimately what receivers are for. Highly recommended!

Klipsch CS-700 - Home theater system Review

Klipsch CS-700 - Home theater system
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Just wanted to throw in my two cents. I have been looking for a 2.1, 3.1, or soundbar setup in my living room. While I have a few top quality components (SVS Sub, some Energy Speakers) I simply do not have the space for a full 5.1 setup right now. I have been researching different items for months and last week finally started my journey to listen to them and see how they do.
The first place I went was my local Sony store. While I figured I'd be able to hear the CT 100 just about anywhere, I wanted to hear the CT 500 in comparison. I could sum up both systems with a word "tinny". I'm not sure what other people are hearing or maybe it was the room that washed out the sound but, I was hugely unimpressed. The sound field seemed to be directly in front of the CT 100 and the CT 500 while slightly better did nothing to wow me.
The next place I went was a local Hi Fi shop to see what they had available. There, they had the Polk Soundbar, though I am uncertain to which model. The sound, while better then the Sonys again left me unimpressed. The sound quality was more detalied and rich, tonality was improved as well, but while it would be an improvement over my TV speakers it would not do much to make for a small home theater system.
Again, disappointed I returned home to do more research. At this point I just started to go to random manufacturers websites, eventually stumbling to Klipsch. I saw the CS 700 and then looked that up some more. I'm sure for those that have searched have hit the same wall as me, there really isn't anything. A thread on AVS forums. A few "preview" type articles here and there but, nothing too informative.
I figured Best Buy would carry them. As soon as I went to the HT section I asked one of the lads there. Not surprisingly he gave me the same response as I would have gotten from my dog, a blank stare. I started to walk out and a Magnolia guy asked me if he could help. I told him what I was looking for and he knew what it was right away! I figured this is my chance to hear it but, instead he takes me to an aisle where there are two CS 700 boxes. There was no set up just those two closed. The closeout price was $699 and I was on the fence on whether to buy or not.
I bit the bullet and brought it home. I have to say I was and continue to be floored! The sound of this little system is astounding. Bass is fantastic, and the wireless sub makes placement much easier. The two speakers are really the stars. Even at full volume there is no sign of distortion. Simply clear, detailed sound with excellent fidelity. What is best for me is low volume listening is just as detailed as a full tilt. The DVD/receiver is decent enough. No Blue Ray but, the DVD quality is good, and the set up like the rest of the system is dead simple. I paired it to my TV via a Digital Optical Input and HDMI for video/sound out of the unit.
The morning after I purchased it, my finance and I were watching our little nephews. In reality I knew this would be the perfect excuse to put the system to a test. While they were there we watched Kung Fu Panda and Meet the Robinsons. Both movies were sublime! The sound field is incredible, it fills the entire room and regardless of where you sit you get excellent separation. In Kung Fu Panda, there is a scene where the villain is escaping from his captors. I noticed little subtle things that I have not heard before, stretching of bow and arrows, slight scratching of the tigers claws on the rocks etc.
That was just one of many "wow" moments I had with this system. While it is not anything close to a true 5.1 or 7.1 set up I think it is the best you can do with an "in the box" small set up. I know it's a bit pricier than some of it's new competitors but, the sound is amazing and at it's price now it is well worth it! 10/10

Technics SB-AS500 - Subwoofer - black Review

Technics SB-AS500 - Subwoofer - black
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
SBAS500 powered sub-woofer is another reason why I have respect for the "Technics" brand. It is simple to install, understand, and yet delivers the quality tight bass. The low frequency is handled and delivered well by the in-built 100W amplifier. It works well with any existing home theater system or even component music systems. I am using the S500 with my "Marantz" digital AV sound processor, and since I have added this sub-woofer, the sound quality has increases dramatically. Some of you may find it a little less responsive sometimes, but then you should realize that this is not a super-sub. Try looking for JBL, and RCA for that sound effects (but they come at a price). At $220, it's not overpriced at all, with its outstanding quality and sound, it will satisfy most of you.

TEAC CR-H227 Hi-Fi Mini Component System Review

TEAC CR-H227 Hi-Fi Mini Component System
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Bought this unit because I am in the US (from the UK) for a couple of years and my Linn Classik doesn't like the US mains voltage or frequency. So it's driving a pair if higher end speakers and has a lot to live up to because I love the Linn.
That said, the sound is very acceptable. Inevitably at the price it lacks a the clarity and depth of a higher end unit, and the CD platter feels lightweight and flimsy, but overall I'm pleased with the purchase.
My only real criticism is around the aesthetics of placing the iPod dock connector on the front the of the unit. Cables aren't pretty and for my money they belong at the back not the front.

This amp works good, but it is very costly. We enjoy the CD player, but for the price it should really come with a DVD player as well. Also we noticed that a hard night of use, and it gets super hot. We had to move it to a more open location to get it to work better for us and not get so hot. The price should really be about half of what they are asking.

ATI FireGL V5600 - Graphics adapter - FireGL V5600 - PCI Express x16 - 512 MB - DVI

The video is breathtaking. For the first time ever, I saw descent into hellfire flames in true 3D without having 3D glasses. It was able to compute parallax trajectories, moving each image pixel in a different direction repeatedly to give the brain the illusion of true 3D using the newest experimental technology, similar to the way the sound appears to keep rising in pitch while only repeating in Pink Floyd's "Welcome to the Machine", for about twenty minutes before crashing. This was in a Winamp visualization that I gave up on eventually, one that has since been discontinued because almost nobody could get it to work consistently without at least a gig of memory on their card, whereas this one has half a gig. It is powerful enough to run visualizations simultaneously on both my monitors at maximum resolutions extended into both of them through the ATI Catalyst Control Center. It can also work different resolutions on two different sized monitors at the same time without a hitch.
This card is huge, though, extending into the hard drive cables. There are two tiny capacitors on the end that interfere with the cables, and can easily snag in the cables and be broken off, which, of course, ruins things. One must devise a way to prevent their being snagged when installing or working on hard drives or the card, or be EXTREMELY careful.

Denon AVR-2809CI 7.1-Channel Multizone Home Theater Receiver Review

Denon AVR-2809CI 7.1-Channel Multizone Home Theater Receiver
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Hi,
I had this receiver (Denon AVR-2809CI) for 2 weeks before I returned it. The sound is great and the remote is awesome. The video passed through perfectly fine as well. There was a problem though. It took a week researching on what could be the problem and it looks like others are having this problem as well.
If you have a Sony flat panel LCD that starts with the letters KDL (ex. KDL-52XBR4, KDL-Z4100, KDL-W3000) then you will have picture and sound dropouts. They will last for 3 seconds then picture and sound will restore. It'll happen anywhere between one to five times an hour and can get quite annoying.
I've spoke to Denon and there is no cure (firmware) or settings that can fix this problem with Sony LCD TVs. Those with rear projection Sony LCDs should be fine.

I have owned 2 P3d412 subwoofers for a year now and they are great! This system is really loud! with the volume turned all the way up, its almost difficult to breathe in the car. I have a rockford punch p1000-1bd amplifier powering the two(1259 watt). they are in a dual-ported enclosure. not only do they rattle your car apart, but the sound quality is great! hits the highs just as well as the lows. The dual voice coils really make it easy to wire however you wish. great, great, great! rockford really makes some high quality stuff! Next system=Rockford POWER series subs.
Ps: if you are running more than one of these subs, i would recommend buying a capacitor to keep your lights from dimming.

An awesome choice whether you want to add one or multiple subwoofers to your vehicle. The P3 12-inch subwoofers can be used in either sealed or ported enclosures, plus you'll get the wiring flexibility of dual voice coils.

P3D212 Features
Speaker Construction
Custom 10-AWG nickel plated push terminals
Dual linear spider with embedded 16 AWG tinsel leads
Extended pole piece and bumped backplate
High excursion Poly-Ether-Ester surround
High-temp voice coil with spun-laced Nomex reinforcement collar
Kevlar Fiber reinforced semi-pressed paper cone and ABS/Acrylic dustcap
Protective PVC textured magnet cover
Reversible diamond cut cast aluminum trim ring
Vented spider cavity

Aluminum V/C Former Rockford Fosgate subwoofers use anodized aluminum voice coil formers that provide excellent heat dissipation. Unlike traditional plastic substitutions, aluminum acts like a heat-sink to quickly dissipate thermal build-up on the voice coil. This keeps subwoofers cool during high SPL conditions.
CEA-2031 Power handling on Rockford Fosgate speakers conform to CEA-2031 industry standards. This means your speaker has the capacity to handle power under continuous damand, not instantaneous power handling, that over time, can damage voice coils.
Reversible Mounting Rockford Fosgate subwoofers can be mounted in either direction. A removable trim ring can be installed on the back or front side of the subwoofer frame. This gives the subwoofer a finished look regardless of mounting configuration.
Stitched Tinsel Leads Multipoint "periodic" stitched lead wire technique reduces the mass of each tinsel lead and spreads stress and strain over a greater area, significantly improving the reliability and performance of the subwoofer.
These stitched tinsel leads withstand extreme duty cycles, fatigue and high current that is critical to robust design.
Venturi-Effect Cooling The "Venturi-Effect" is created by gradually reducing the air-flow exhaust path area, which increases the air speed across the key thermal masses ofthe speaker motor parts maximizing cooling effectiveness.

Denon AVR-3808CI 7.1-Channel Multizone Home Theater Receiver with Networking Review

Denon AVR-3808CI 7.1-Channel Multizone Home Theater Receiver with Networking
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have been waiting a while for "the perfect receiver". However, I have come to the conclusion that this is as close to perfect as I am going to find for my needs right now. I am using all 4 HDMI inputs (PS3, Oppo 980H, Directv HR20, and a Sony Vaio computer). The Denon has worked flawlessly with SACD, DVD-A, and lossless audio sources from my BluRay movies.
For sound quality, it is important to get the speakers setup properly. Denon's auto setup with the included mic makes this a very simple setup. I have heard that it helps to take measurements from all over the room, so I setup 5 listening locations. The sound quality is fantastic. I do have an spl meter, but I have not had it out to fine tune the setup just yet. It already sounds fantastic. The Oppo has the ability to send out a DSD multi-channel signal for its SACD and these sound fantastic on the Denon.
I am not really using the video upscaler very much since most of the signals I am inputting are already HD. In other words, the Denon mainly sends out the signals untouched, so it is hard to complain.
The ability to update the firmware over the internet connection is what I believe sets this receiver apart from the competition. For me, this was the deciding factor. With all of the new tech in these receivers, I do not want to have to carry the thing into a service location every time it needs an update.
I should mention that I played some music coming from my computer using the network interface and it worked okay. It did take a few seconds to retrieve license information for Yahoo Music DRM files, but I bet they improve on that in the future.
The downsides are small, but should be mentioned. The remote is okay for setting up the system, but it is going into a drawer with my other remotes now that I have my Harmony 880 universal programmed for all of the general functions that I need. Also, the GUI takes some getting used to. I like the ability to rename the inputs and choose what video inputs go with the audio inputs. However, it was not something that I picked up and setup in a few minutes. It is better than my old Denon AVR-3300, so at least they are going in the right direction!

I bought this amp to run a pair of flat pioneers, the 300 rms models and it works fine on them, in fact they cant handle it above half gain. On the other side of the coin I have a 10" Audiobahn competition sub rated at 1000 rms and this amp didn't hardly move it. I had a Rockford BD1500 on a pair of them and damn near blew my sun roof out of the car, no joke. It's a descent amp but I'm concerned that it won't handle a 1 ohm load as stated. Over all not bad for daily use if you don't try to push it.
