It figures that a European company would develop a subwoofer like this. Compact and nice/interesting looking - things that fit in nicely with the European mindset... I'm married to one. One speaker that my wife doesn't mind having in plain sight. And it's output is tight, fast and accurate (unlike some other small subs from "reputable" manufacturers... like Sunfire, which output a lot of sound, but that's about all you can say. Give me speed and accuracy first, and super-low-end last). It may not play as loud or low as larger subs, but it does really add to satellite speakers, and has done a nice job for me, where I have it augmenting a 12" sub (Triad Silver InRoom).
Some minor issues are the lack of a gain control on it - you'll need to set its level via your AV receiver. It does have a switch that allows you to select either 0dB boost, +3dB or +6dB, which does help.
Besides that, there is a 0 or 180 degree phase switch, and a switch that selects either auto- or always-on. The auto-on works great for me; after I shut off the system, a couple minutes later, the sub turns off.
Overall, I'm happy with this sub. It definitely adds low-end richness to soundtracks and music. And the fact that it's small and nice looking is a big plus.
