(More customer reviews)I recently replaced a Polk Audio PSW-12 with the Synergy. This is an amazing upgrade. It mixes well with the Polk RTi-8 Fronts, and CSi-3 Center, R15 surround and Infinity Primus 250 Back Surround. All of these speakers are powered by an Onkyo 803.
The previous sub had good bass response, but was very directional. What I mean by that is I could hear the bass coming from the sub. It did not fill the room. The Synergy fills the room, and actually makes the bass sound like it is coming from the individual speakers. If you increase the gain, it will shake the house.
Installation was very simple. I used the LFE connection, and plugged it in to power. It also has an automatic power save mode, and a light on the front to let you know what mode it is in. Over all, a great value!
