(More customer reviews)I bought these from Sweetwater to replace the Advents I bought here several years ago (see the review.) I know the name Focal from traditional home stereo. They are still very well made in France, not CHINA. If you are looking for terrific sound from your computer and can swing it financially, I recommend them. They go down to 45hz, which is enough for me. They are very accurate and will reproduce your source well. If the music isn't well recorded, well ... it is going to sound like it. They weigh around 25 lbs each, so be sure your desk can handle the weight. The won't work straight off your sound card. An RCA splitter is needed for that. I'm running them off an HRT Music streamer USB DAC. Amazing!
