The needle arm is heavy and made very well therefore, it doesn't skip/scratch when laying the needle on my vinyl which light arms do. The quality of sound is impeccable and it's so very aesthetically pleasing. I couldn't be happier and hope someone who reads this gets to experience the joys of this uniquely wonderful turntable/stereo.
